The Fantastic Follies of Mrs Rich at the RSC

Mary Pix’s 1700 comedy of manners is at The Swan Theatre until June 14th.
Widow of a wealthy banker, Mrs Rich craves acceptance as a woman of quality and entry into high society.  The play is about snobbery, social aspiration and a cruel deception – it has loud bangs, two dogs and lots of fun.

If you’re visiting Stratford on April 21st, you can enjoy the town’s Shakespeare birthday celebrations including performances, a parade and a party.
