The RSC presents new productions of two of Shakespeare’s most popular plays this summer - the great tragedy ‘Macbeth’ and if you prefer comedy, an intriguing version of ‘As You Like It’ starring a company of veteran RSC actors including Geraldine James as Rosalind.

In the Swan Theatre there’s a new play by Tanika Gupta ‘The Empress’ which opens on July 7 before transferring to London.

‘Macbeth’ runs from Aug 1 - Oct 14

‘As You Like It’ runs from June 17 - Aug 5
